Our 5-Year Written Guarantee

What We Guarantee

ColourHaus provides a 5-year written guarantee on the coating systems we apply. This guarantee covers the coating against peeling, flaking and adhesion failure caused solely by our workmanship, under normal domestic use.

uPVC windows, doors and conservatories sprayed with Kolorbond-certified coatings carry a 10-year guarantee, backed by the manufacturer for colour stability and adhesion.

The guarantee is issued as a formal written document on completion of your project. It applies only to the coating system applied by ColourHaus and does not extend to any substrate, component, fixture, fitting or material beneath the coating.

What Is Covered

• Peeling of the applied coating due to our workmanship.
• Flaking of the applied coating due to our workmanship.
• Adhesion failure of the coating we applied.
• Colour stability of Kolorbond uPVC coatings within manufacturer tolerances.

What Is Not Covered

Consistent with our Terms & Conditions, the guarantee does not cover damage or failure caused by factors outside our workmanship, including:

• Impact damage, scratches, chips and abrasion.
• Excessive cleaning, solvents, bleach or steam cleaners.
• Water ingress, condensation, heat damage or appliance, sink and tap leaks.
• Silicone failure, structural or building movement.
• Pre-existing defects within or beneath existing coatings (treated as substrate failure).
• Damage caused by third-party contractors, pets, children or misuse.

How to Make a Claim

1. Report the issue in writing within seven (7) days of discovery to info@colourhaus.co.uk, including clear photographs.
2. Allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work in person.
3. Where a defect is proven to be due to our workmanship, we will rectify it at no charge.

Please do not instruct any third party to carry out remedial work without our prior written consent, as this will invalidate the claim. Any guarantee is also suspended while an invoice remains unpaid.
